Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Losing Money

As reported originally in USA Today, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is currently struggling to stay solvent with the economy and cultural trends keeping patrons away. Other cities are in the same situation including Albuquerque, Charlotte, Detroit, Louisville and Tampa.

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is currently surviving off of "reserved funds". This is obviously not a sustainable way to keep the organization afloat but hopefully there will be something that can save the institution from closing completely when all of the money runs out.
